Heres my new SIMATIC Version. i downloaded a new license key. Its a V5.5. Which is the latest version. Do i need a new key. or can i use my last license key. I have a feeling im really close to my step 7 key in my license key. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Daniel
Runs in Step 7 v5.5 as well. I don’t know what tool you were using, but this worked for me:
Export license key from the PLC.
Login to Step 7 and select Tools, License.
Check if there is license key. Then the license key should be exported.
Open the license, and the new license key will be inserted automatically.
Use the new key.
Restart the system.
